Trump Aims At First Indian Tower

The arrival of the Trump property Empire in India is likely to be marked in December when announcements are expected on the construction of India's first Trump tower to be located in Bengaluru.

The tower will also go by of Bangalore 47 rather than the traditional Trump Tower and stand at a height of 165 metres.

So far only speculative images of the tower designed by architects Thomas Associates have been released, although these indicate the tower will be fairly standard in design, sporting the familiar efficient box shape.

The facades are punctuated with balconies and in the centre of tower columns which open up several of the floors allowing them to be occupied by atria.

More spectacularly the cladding of the tower appears to be rather polished steel which will give the tower an almost beacon like look in the sunshine thanks to the heavily reflective metallic aesthetic.

The tower will house sixteen, seven bed roomed condominiums over 700 square metres in size and three, eight bed roomed penthouses over 900 square metres in size making them huge by any standards.

Occupying the second to twelfth floors each condominium will come with not one or two but six parking spaces and the penthouses seven spaces, giving you enough space to park an entire collection of cars.

In an attempt to make the proposal as upper-class as possible, the numbers of living spaces have been kept deliberately low to create the towers exclusivity as well as giving the space for such absurdly large apartments.

Residents can also look forward to exclusive use of the signature Trump Spa and Health Club and there will a Trump restaurant that will be available for use by the general, not so exclusive public.

A number of local firms will be used in the project including Synergy Property Development Services Pvt. Ltd who will manage project development and Asipac Projects Ltd who will handle the marketing side of things. It is rumoured the companies involved are subject to strict confidentiality and not a hint of the project can be found on their websites so far.

All going well, Trump's first Indian tower should be open for business in 2011
